Cycling Tuscany

We celebrated our 34th anniversary cycling in Tuscany. The trip was organized by LifeCycle Adventures, the company we’d used in California. They give us the routes and carry our bags from inn to inn.

It’s a hilly place, dotted with little villages, medieval buildings, olive tree groves and vineyards. We ate pasta with abandon (and gelato too), knowing we’d be working it off the next day.

  1. You guys amaze me! This looks just fabulous! We are doing Croatia, in October. We’re taking our tandem… because I’m a wimp on hills, and on flats, and pretty much everywhere else. 😉 You, on the other hand are incredible. Way to go, Lisa!

    • I’m so impressed and a bit envious about you and the tandem. I guess I’m too much of a control freak to relinquish that to someone else, and we don’t communicate well enough to do it. I spend a lot of time riding myself. Let me know how Croatia is– heard it’s great.

How delightful! Tuscany is one of my favorite places on earth. After the hubster retires, we may do an art tour via bike. Thanks for the inspiration, Lisa.
