My granddaughter will look lovely in this lilac jumper I just finished. The pattern is “Wildflower DK” by Plymouth and I used Sublime baby cashmere marino silk dk yarn. I know a bit extravagant for a baby but I loved its soft feel and the color choices. I promised Meira’s mother I’d hand wash the outfit! Thanks to my mother, I learned how to do the crochet edge. Never too old for new learning!
Works in progress: color block sweaters for the grandsons, a needlepoint pillow, and a crazy poncho type sweater from scraps for my daughter-in-law or sister. They’ll decide. Plenty to do, yet a local yarn shop has advertised a sale and I’m tempted to visit.
Wow beautiful…it takes me a year to finish anything knitted. 😉

Takes me ages, depending on the project. Needlepoint can be about 3 years because I much prefer knitting and keep starting new projects.
Thanks for stopping in!

So inspiring! Just beautiful. I love the hippo buttons. Something I would love to learn but the crafty genes seemed to only go to my elder and younger sisters!

OK something about an apple and a tree? Beautiful work and really lovely color. Picked up knitting a couple of years ago after a 30 year hiatus, it’s very meditative for me except when I have to pull out stitches…currently trying my hand on a giraffe toy for the much anticipated, late summer grandbaby girl!
